All Snohomish property owners are invited to experience and support the Northwest Equine Stewardship Center (NWESC). This non-profit organization works hard with local equine rescue organizations to rehabilitate rescue horses. This center does not take in and adopt out the horses directly, but simply provides high quality care to horses in need that are part of other programs and organizations. This means that NWESC can focus on caring for the horses and also provide educational and therapeutic opportunities for people. The NWESC provides veterinary, hoof care, and training to horses. Kids who will be in grades 7 to 9 in fall 2018 can do golf camp. This new camp will run in July. The first will be on Mondays and Wednesdays, July 9, 11, and 16 from noon to 2 p.m. and July 18 from noon to 3 p.m. Because space is limited, registration will be open only to the first 10 boys and first 10 girls who sign up. The fee for golf camp is $60.

Young artists in Lake Stevens can sign up for art camp. The camp runs from Monday, July 30th through Thursday, August 2nd.
