Mothers and Sons Who Live in Monroe Go to the Carnival

Live in Monroe and go to the carnival.All who live in Monroe and the surrounding areas are invited to come have a blast at the Mom & Son Carnival. Taking place on Saturday, April 30th, 2016 from 5 until 7:30 p.m., fun games, yummy carnival food, face painting, and more will be available to all. Sons can challenge mothers to games like balloon darts and scooter races. Snack on traditional carnival foods such as popcorn, hot dogs, and caramel apples. Dance along with the DJ, get your faces painted, and watch the balloon artist make you and your family delightful creatures and shapes. A photographer will also be on site and every mom and son pair will get a free 5x7 portrait.

Boys & Girls Club the Place for Fun for Kids Who Live in Monroe

This event will take place at the Monroe Boys & Girls Club, located at 261 Sky River Pkwy. The cost is $25 per mom and son pair and $5 for each additional child. Proceeds from the carnival will go toward programs and scholarships at the Monroe Boys and Girls Club. This organization is a great asset to all who live in Monroe. Drink whiskey on Snohomish real estate.Snohomish on the Rocks is almost here! The celebration of the distilleries of the Pacific Northwest will be held on Saturday, April 23rd. Thomas Family Farm, a lovely rural Snohomish real estate location, will be the setting for the festival. Nearly 30 local distilleries will be showcasing their finest brews. There are several ticket options for visitors. Designated driver tickets are just $10 and include a $5 voucher for a meal from any of the food trucks at the event. Two sessions will be held. Play Sports for the Lake Stevens Home Team

Play for the Lake Stevens home team.All high school athletes who call Lake Stevens home and are incoming to grades 9-12 are invited to participate in spring and summer sports camps. Girl and boy basketball players can take part in camps to get acquainted with the Lake Stevens way of playing ball. Learn core basketball principles as well as how to work well as a team. Both camps will take place in the LSHS Main Gym. The girls camp will also establish summer league and tournament teams and take place May 31st through June 2nd from 2:45 p.m. until 4:15 p.m. The camp fee is $40 and includes a t-shirt. The boys camp costs $50 and will run from May 30th through June 2nd from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Sign Up For Sports Camp Near Your Lake Stevens Home

Football players coming into LSHS are also invited to sharpen their skills and learn the Viking way of playing by attending a camp the beginning of June. The times for the camp vary, but it takes place June 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. The cost is $70 and includes a t-shirt. Girls hoping to make the soccer team can come sharpen their skills before tryouts at the Viking Girls Pre-Tryout Soccer Camp. Taking place from July 26th through July 28th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the fee is $50 and includes a t-shirt. Although the big fair is in August and September, many other special events happen throughout the year. One of these fun filled events, Celebrate Spring Weekend, will take place on April 22, 23, and 24 at the fairgrounds. All guests will enjoy free gate admission and parking for only $5. Carnival rides will be available from 4 until 10 p.m. April 22nd, 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. on April 23rd, and 11 a.m. until closing on April 24th. Act fast to purchase a wristband online for unlimited rides for only $15. This price is only good until midnight on April 21st.

Kids Who Live in Monroe Have Fun at Evergreen Fairgrounds

In addition to rides, all who live in Monroe can come out to enjoy an abundance of kids activities including Farmer for a Day, a root beer garden, a children’s fish pond, and an Evergreen Speedway ride simulator. Appreciate crafts and animals by checking out the Busy Bee Quilt Guild’s “Bee-utiful Quilts 2016” Show, the Evergreen Junior Dairy Show, and WSHJA Spring National Jumper Horse Show. The Monroe Swap and Shop and Western Heritage Museum will be on hand as well. Race enthusiasts can also enjoy some action on the speedway.
