Everyone living in Lake Stevens goes to library events. The local library is a great resource for anyone living in Lake Stevens. It has a full schedule of recurring events, as well as fun special events for everyone from baby to adults. Little kids can join in a fun weekly story time on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The Ready Readers Family Storytime is designed especially for toddlers and preschoolers, or kids from about 18 months through 4 years old. However, all children are welcome. Funny stories and action songs capture kids’ interest and lay a positive foundation for a future love of reading. The event finishes off with creative activities. Kid should be sure to bring their caregivers.

On Wednesdays, the youngest members of the family get their own story time at Ready Readers Baby & Me Storytime. Bring the little ones for a fun time with stories, songs, rhymes, and rhythm from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. After the planned activities, there is an unstructured playtime. This is a great way to meet other parents and make local friends.
