All who live in Lake Stevens and surrounding areas are invited to take part in the upcoming C-Trail Run 2017. This event will take place on March 11, 2017. Even if running is not your favorite past time, there are still plenty of ways to be involved including coming to cheer on the runners and volunteering. This C Run starts at the 20th St. NE Centennial Trailhead. Those planning to run in the race can choose from either the 5K distance or the 10K distance. There is even a half mile run available to the kids, beginning at 7:45 a.m. The adults will warm up beginning at 8 a.m., the 10K starts at 8:15 a.m. and the 5K takes off at 8:20 a.m.
If interested, sign up soon because early registration ends at 12:01 a.m. on February 28th. After that date, the price keeps going up until race day. Feel good about participating in this run that will not only provide a morning of great exercise and camaraderie, but also benefit many people who live in Lake Stevens. Part of the proceeds will go toward funding the “Leader in Me” program available at several LSSD schools that helps teach our kids to be future leaders.
