Coeur d'Alene North Pole Cruise

This last Christmas, the entire Persinger family flew in to celebrate Christmas at the Coeur d’Alene Resort.
That meant family coming in from Wisconsin, California, Nevada and Arizona. It was quite a sight to see the entire family together in this magical place.
The Cruise to the North Pole
When we booked our rooms at the Coeur d’Alene Resort we knew this is something that we want to do, as an entire family.
And even though we went the day after Christmas, the kids still got a special surprise from Santa.
Journey To The North Pole
We waited inside to board. Grabbed some hot drinks on the boat while we waited to shove off on our journey to the North Pole.
How long does it take to get to the North Pole?
The boat ride over to the North Pole is fast but amazing. The entire adventure is about 40 minutes, so I'd guess the ride to the North Pole was about 10 minutes.
As you cruise over, you get to look back at the city of Coeur d’Alene and the lights on the Resort.
Some of us in the family went to the upper deck of the boat, which is outside. It was cold. But worth it.
And soon, we were at the North Pole. Santa and Mrs. Claus greeted us. Santa shared stories of his travels around the world on Christmas Eve. And then told the kids he had started working on his list for next year and their names were already on it, he then began reading off the kid's names.
Booking The Coeur d'Alene North Pole Cruise
We booked our Christmas Cruise when we booked our rooms at the Coeur d’Alene Resort. There were special packages and things you could add on. We pretty much did it all. Elves bring cookies to the room. A Christmas tree in the room.
The kids couldn't have been happier about all these things. It is a magical experience for both children and adults alike.
You don't have to stay at the Resort to enjoy the journey to the North Pole. You can just book the cruise.

Before or After The Cruise
After the cruise, we went and had a great dinner. There are plenty of great places to eat within walking distance so if you're looking for great places to eat in Coeur d’Alene, that'll be easy.
