Quilters living in Monroe have the opportunity to attend Quilters Anonymous 36th Annual Quilt Show at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds from Friday, March 17th through Sunday, March 19th 2017. This is among the largest quilt shows in the region and more than 4,00 visitors are expected to attend this event. Come on out between the hours of 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday to view over 500 quilts. Stand in awe viewing traditional quilts, art quilts, and other innovative designs. Even though there is no judging and will be no prizes at this show, visitors are sure to be impressed at the level of skill and the amount of time that go into these beautiful and functional pieces of art.
In addition to viewing the quilts, all living in Monroe who attend will be able to be inspired and then shop for quilts, fabrics, and other quilting supplies from vendors at the event. There will be a wealth of knowledge here, so come out and ask questions. Also be sure to check out informational and engaging demonstrations about different quilt making techniques throughout the day. Admission is just $8, and parking is free. That is a great deal to rub elbows with world-renowned quilt teachers, authors, and many who have had pieces accepted into national shows.
