The Snohomish Library has many programs and events to offer to Snohomish property owners and their children. The calendar is full and it is great to pop in for an event, then grab some books and movies to take home. Two events coming up soon are a school aged program, an installment of the Curiosity Academy, called Zentangle Art and a business event for adults titled Entry to Apprenticeship. Zentangle Art will take place on Friday, March 10th, 2017 from 3 until 4 p.m. Children ages 7-12 are invited to come and try the Zentangle Method of art. Children can create images by drawing structured patterns called tangles. They will be guided through this process that will be relaxing and fun. Advance registration is required.
Entry to Apprenticeship is an event for adults who are seeking more information about a career in an apprenticeable occupation. It will take place on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. There are many trades out there that let newcomers earn while they learn. This program at the library will give information to Snohomish property owners and all other guests about how these programs work, what the benefits are, requirements, the application process, and timeline.
