Monroe property owners looking for a new favorite pub should check out Route 2 Taproom and Grazing Place. Founded by three friends, the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Owners Frank and Greg are always at the bar, ready to say hello and make newcomers feel welcome. The focus of the beer list is independent brewers in the Pacific Northwest. With a staggering 29 different beers on tap, you’ll want to come back often to sample them all. Come hungry, because there is a fabulous menu, as well. Sink your teeth into a burger made with premium Angus beef. Branch out with a Philly cheesesteak, Thai sriracha peanut chicken wrap, or a pulled pork sandwich. Kids are welcome on this Monroe property, so bring them along and let them choose something from the kids menu.
Route 2 Taproom also hosts special events. Upcoming events include the Pints and Paints event on Monday, March 27th. Come take a fun painting class with a professional artist, and sip on a craft beer, cider, or glass of wine. Snacks will also be served. The cost is $45 for each participant and includes a drink, snacks, and all painting supplies.
Come every Wednesday at 7 p.m. for Trivia Night. The cost to participate is $1 a person. Teams can be one to six people. Compete for a $50 prize or something from the raffle.
