If you’re looking for something a little bit off the beaten track for Valentine’s Day, check out the special Valentine’s Day cooking class offered at the Hungry Pelican on February 14 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Learn to put together a romantic dinner that will sweep your valentine of their feet. Bring your date and learn to cook an amazing meal on gourmet Snohomish property. Chef Terra will help participants prepare a three-course dinner. Start by poaching prawns, learn to make cocktail sauce, and whip up an artichoke crostini. Then sear a filet of beef and serve it with roasted asparagus and smashed potatoes. If this sounds intimidating, relax! Chef Terra will make the class low stress and fun. Finish the meal with a fabulous cheesecake.
The cost of the class is $150 per couple and includes the three-course special dinner and full beverage menu. You’ll also get to take the recipes and the skills you learn from Chef Terra back to your own Snohomish property. For the next dinner party or date night in, you’ll be cool and confident as you put your new skills to work.
