Snohomish property owners have an exciting opportunity to help fight ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease). The 16th annual Ride to Defeat ALS will be held on Saturday, July 30th. Register as an individual or as a team. Kids 12 and younger are welcome to ride along with a registered adult. The entry fee is $75, and all participants are asked to raise at least $150. Not only does the ride raise money for research to cure ALS, it also spreads the word, so more people can get involved. Even if you can’t participate in the ride, you can donate online and encourage friends and family to do the same.
Enjoy Beautiful Snohomish Property on Centennial Trail
The ride begins at the Snohomish Senior Center, a Snohomish property located at 506 4th Street. The route takes riders along the Centennial Trail. Choose from three out-and-back routes: 22.8 miles to Lake Cassidy; 48.6 miles to Arlington; and 64.2 miles to Nakashima Farm. There are rest stops along the way, bike mechanics, and plenty of support. At the end of the ride, get ready to party! Live music will be playing, and you’ll be able to recharge with some great food.
