Calling all train enthusiasts who live in the Monroe real estate area and surrounding cities! The United NorthWest Model Railroad Club invites everyone to enjoy the 26th Annual Washington State Model Train Show and Marketplace. The event will be held at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday, February 25th and 26th. Admission for adults is $8; for seniors and those aged 10 to 18, it’s $6; kids nine and under get in free with a paid adult. All the proceeds from ticket sales go to benefit the Snohomish County 4-H Foundation.
This Monroe real estate location will be entirely dedicated to model trains for the weekend. There will be a large number of vendors selling anything and everything you need to perfect your model train set up. Clinics will be held throughout the fair as well. Get tips on weatherizing your set up. Find out about how 3D printing can fit into your model train hobby. Attendees can also get in on clinics on soldering for a layout’s wiring, ways to use modern lighting techniques, and how to apply decals and air brush the components in a layout.
