Motorcycle enthusiasts who live in Snohomish are invited to come out for the 20th annual Sky Valley Motorcycle Show. The show will be held Saturday, May 15th. This is a ride-in show, so anyone can show a motorcycle for just $15 per bike. Registration will be held from from 9 a.m. to noon. Ride pins are available for $6 each, and t-shirts are available for $25, while long-sleeved shirts are $30. Vendors are also welcome. All proceeds from the event will benefit the senior center and the food bank. Judging for the best bike will be held in several categories, including people’s choice.
Bikers who Live in Snohomish Show Their Motorcycles
May is Motorcycle Awareness Month, and the motorcycle show is intended to raise awareness of motorcyclists on the road and encourage safe driving and riding. The Sky Valley Chapter of ABATE, a motorcyclist advocacy group, hosts the event every year. In addition to safety advocacy, the motorcycle show is an opportunity to see the evolution of motorcycles through the decades. There will be antique bikes built before 1955, vintage bikes built between 1955 and 1975, a well as many customized bikes. All who live in Snohomish will have a fun time walking through the different bikes, seeing friends, grooving to live music, and of course, eating great food.
