The Lake Stevens Library has a full calendar of events available to those living in Lake Stevens. There are several fun and enriching calendar items this week so be sure to stop in to grab a few new books and stay for a program. The first is for school aged children and is titled Explore Summer with Chris Fascione’s “Juggling Funny Stories.” Come to the library from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. for this humorous and energetic performance. Children and adults will enjoy how Chris brings characters to life through acting, storytelling, comedy, and juggling.
The other event this week is titled Hands on Henna. Teens living in Lake Stevens are invited to come to the library on June 29th, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for this enriching program. Krysteen Lomonaco from Mehndi Madness will be on site telling the teens about the history and meanings of henna. Those participating in the program will be able to create their own design and Krysteen will apply a small henna sample on those in attendance.
