The Lake Stevens Library has much to offer children who reside in Lake Stevens real estate. Over winter break there are lots of fun events to attend. School aged children are invited to the library for Winter Science - Balloons! This event will take place on December 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. This program is presented by Monica Jackson and Melanie Liu. Students will be able to learn more about balloons and participate in fun activities that use simple everyday items.
Get the kids out of your Lake Stevens real estate for another fun science program on December 28, 2016 at 10 a.m. Titled Winter Science Extravaganza: Solids, Liquids and Chemical Creations, school aged children will be able to have a hands on learning experience. Staff from Imagine Children’s Museum will be on site to help children learn about the properties of matter and perform fun experiments.
Teens and tweens aged ten and up are invited to the library on December 29, 2016 for Minecraft Build Challenge. This will start at 3 p.m. and all are invited to work together to build the best Minecraft structure. Sign up with a friend or come to meet some new ones with similar interests.
