Everyone from Monroe homes is invited to the Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 6th. The fun begins at 10 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m. Head to Lake Tye Park for a day of community and great activities. Admission is free! Start decorating for Halloween by choosing a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. Then take it over to the professional pumpkin carver. Watch as your pumpkin is transformed into a work of art! Kids will really have a blast. They can get their faces painted as their favorite animals, superheroes, or story characters. They will also be able to bring home balloon animals. Artsy kids will enjoy the craft tables just for them.
Come hungry and enjoy a meal or snack at one of the great line up of food trucks. Rock out to the live music that will be playing. Get a little shopping done for Monroe homes at one of the vendors. More than 60 local artisans will be at the festival. Get more details at the event Facebook page.
Everyone from Monroe Homes Loves to Play at Lake Tye Park
Lake Tye Park is a fun place to go in its own right. There are picnic tables for eating, a great playground, and a skate park. Come back another day or stay for the afternoon and play soccer or a game of tennis.
