Established in 1994, Fred’s has become known as a premier place to try craft and European beers, with 32 different choices on tap. Starters such as hot wings, chicken or beef topped nachos, beer battered onion rings and Mick Jagger sweet potato fries tempt appetites and leave them wanting more. At lunch, come in for a plate of Alaskan halibut and chips, a bowl of lobster bisque and small salad, or a Thai chicken wrap. Fill up at dinner with the black porter gumbo, made with shrimp, chicken, Cajun sausage, and Deschute’s Black Butte Porter Ale. The porter ale meatloaf adds some special twists to an old favorite, including sun dried tomatoes, shallots, and a special house mushroom sauce.
