Come for the Easter Parade on Snohomish property.The Snohomish Easter Parade is popular event for Snohomish property owners every year. In its 39th year, the 2019 parade will be held on Saturday, April 20th at 11 a.m. Expect the parade to last close to two hours and be great fun for the whole family. Line-up begins at 9:30 a.m. at First Street and Lincoln Avenue. Send one person to sign in and then get in place. Everyone should be ready to go at 10:45.

Spectators are invited to come early to line the streets and get a great spot. Watch the delight on children’s faces as they see marching bands, cheerleaders, characters, bunnies, floats, horses, emergency vehicles, and much more. Wear your Easter bonnets to the parade and look for some elaborately decorated hats in the parade. If you would like to show off your bonnet in the parade, all are welcome to ride on the Snohomish Chamber of Commerce float. Just come to the float, located at Cedar and First Street, no later than 10:45 the morning of the parade. Parents can certainly ride too or meet their children at the end of the parade at First Street and Avenue E.

When the parade comes to a close, head over to First Street and Avenue A, behind the judging booth, for the Easter Bonnet Contest. Who will win the awards and return to their Snohomish property with a prize? Prize or no prize this is a fun day that really brings the community together. Stick around downtown after the festivities to support local businesses by grabbing a bite to eat or doing a little shopping. Springtime in downtown Snohomish is truly beautiful. The flowers and trees are in bloom, the air feels fresh, and the sun feels warm. Walk along the Snohomish River and give thanks for living in such a beautiful place.
