Fall is a magical time in Snohomish real estate. There is a crispness in the air, the leaves are falling, and pumpkins are taking over every storefront and every menu. There are many great farms to visit in the area and one you definitely do not want to miss is The Farm at Swan’s Trail. People travel from all over the Seattle area to come to this farm and luckily it is a short drive from any Snohomish real estate.
This is much more than a place to come grab a pumpkin. There are many activities and events available here to make a visit a whole day affair. Get lost in the Washington State Corn Maze and the three story high barn maze with a slide for the exit. Pick your own apples and pumpkins. Let the kids go for a spin on a pedal car, get out some energy on the giant jumping pillow, go down the slides, or dig around in the corn box. Gather the family to enjoy a wagon ride, live duck race, and giant hay pyramid.
No trip to the farm is complete without some tasty food. Come in the morning for the early bird breakfast. Munch on kettle corn, french fries, roasted corn, pulled pork sandwiches, corn dogs, and much more. The farm is open from now through October 31st. Operating hours are weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekdays 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Field trips are welcome by reservation only from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Parking and general admission to the farm is free and includes the pig show, duck race, and petting farm.
