Kids from Lake Stevens homes have lots of opportunities to hone their sports skills this summer. Sign up to play softball on Monday and Tuesday, June 20th and 21st. Kids in grades three to eight will work with Lake Stevens High School coaches and players to practice hitting, base running, and defensive strategy. Camp runs from 10 a.m. to noon both days. Boys entering grades three to eight who love basketball can sign up for a camp session from Monday, June 20th to Thursday, June 23rd. Participants will work on drills and scrimmage games. Camp begins at 9:30 and ends at 11 a.m. The fee for both camps is $50 and includes a t-shirt.
Kids from Lake Stevens Homes Can Stay Fit This Summer
Practice several sports at Sports and Wellness Camp, designed for kids entering grades one to five. Kids from Lake Stevens homes will be able to practice soccer, volleyball, flag football, orienteering, and more. There are two sessions for this camp. Attend Monday through Thursday, either June 20th to 23rd or June 27th to 30th. Both sessions begin at 9 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. Campers should bring lunch, and a snack will be provided. The camp fee is $90 per student, with a $5 discount for additional siblings.
