For the sixth year in a row, the Coeur d'Alene Downtown Association has organized a festival dedicated to the most iconic comfort food of all time: MAC & CHEESE!
Mark this festival on your calendar, as it will be held at various locations in the downtown of Coeur d'Alene. Indulge in some of the best and tastiest mac and cheese available all day long; this event is perfect for foodies of all ages.

Amazing food and drink can be found all around North Idaho, which is one of the best aspects of living in or visiting this state. You have access to fresh game, award-winning wines, sweet honey, huckleberry everything, craft beers and ciders, locally grown produce; all of which make for a delightful dining experience.
The "Golden Noodle" award will be given to the local chef who has the best version of everyone's all-time favorite food from their childhood, mac and cheese, at the 2023 CDA Mac and Cheese Festival.
At the 6th annual Mac and Cheese Festival, attendees can taste a variety of cheesy dishes, some of which will be paired with craft beer. They will have the opportunity to vote for their preferred dish to determine the winner of the People's Choice Award.
WHEN IS THE COEUR D'ALENE MAC AND CHEESE FESTIVAL?
The 2023 Mac and Cheese Festival is January 14, 2023
- Lunch Session: Check-in time frame 11 am - 1 pm. Serving starts at Noon.
- Dinner Session: Check-in time frame 2 pm - 4 pm.

"Kick off the Mac Cheese Festival with an evening dinner cruise on Lake Coeur d'Alene. Grab your friends, family, and kiddos to hop on board for some cheese-filled fun! 90-minute evening dinner cruises are offered at 4:30-6:00PM (boarding at 4PM) and 7:00-8:30PM (boarding at 6:30PM). This year’s menu features Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese Manicotti, Mac and Cheese Cheesecake, Winter Green Salad, Fresh Fruit Salad, Fresh Vegetable Medley, Herb Focaccia with Butter and Black Forest Chocolate Cake.”
