The Snohomish Women’s Run is coming soon to the area near Snohomish homes. Part of each race entry will go to support Girls on the Run Snohomish County. This is a great program that helps builds confidence and self-esteem for girls in Snohomish County through running. Join a large group of women running in this event on May 5th, 2019. Early registration with lower fees has passed, but there is still time to get in on the racing action from now until May 2nd.
Run in the half marathon for $80 or the 10K for $60. Each registration includes chip timing, a finisher medal, a personalized bib number, and a full zip hoodie. A girls 1K run is also available for a fee of $15. VIP packages and parking passes for Lowell Riverfront Park or Rotary Park have sold out, so participants will need to park at Cascade High School and catch a bus to the event.
The 10K and the half marathon both start at 8 a.m. and the girls 1k run begins at 10:30 am. The course is flat, which makes it a great choice for first timers. Strollers are allowed on the course, but pets are not. The course is USATF Certified and packet pick-up will be on May 4th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Lynnwood Convention Center.
