There are several weekly storytimes to get young minds excited about reading. Baby and Me Storytime takes place on Tuesdays from 10:30to 11:15 a.m. Toddler Storytime takes place on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Preschool Storytime takes place on Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
There are also several special events coming up at the end of September. Veterans’ Services Outreach - Snohomish County Veterans Assistance Program will be on site from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 19th to offer assistance to veterans living in Monroe real estate. An Intro to Email class will take place the same day from 3 to 4 p.m. Learn how to keep in touch with friends, family, and potential employers at this informative class. Employment Navigators from the Carnegie Resource Center will be at the library on Tuesday, September 24th from 1 to 4:30 p.m. to help those affected by the opioid crisis find work and keep a steady job.
Parents are invited to come for a class offered at the library by Cocoon House. A Parent’s Guide to Teen Depression will take place on Thursday, September 26th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The same class will be offered in Spanish on Wednesday, September 25th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Parents can learn more about depression and when it becomes a clinical diagnosis rather than an emotion.
