Main Street in Monroe, this establishment offers open paint night, pottery classes, paint a pot opportunities, and a large variety of beautiful pottery available for purchase. Pieces of 5 Lines Pottery can be found in shops all over the country, but the shop in Monroe is the original location.

Sign up for a class to learn about how to make pottery. New students can sign up for a four week class, with each session being 2.5 hours. The cost for the class is $160, which includes 25 pounds of clay and a tool kit. Students in the class will learn about the basics of throwing, trimming, handbuilding, and glazing. This class is for students 18 years of age and over. Anyone younger would need to be approved by the owner.

Returning students are invited to sign up for a four week class for $125. These sessions are also 2.5 hours and this cost includes one bag of clay. After every four week session, 5 Lines Pottery offers students the chance to come in anytime during the week during business hours to finish up projects and try new things.

In addition to the pottery classes, everyone is invited to come in for paint a pot and special open paint nights. A special open paint night is coming up May 1st, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. All pottery will be 29% off in honor of the owner’s birthday. Please RSVP for this event. Paint a pot is also available Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. No appointment is needed, just come on in! Note that children need to be accompanied by their parents.
