Check out some great art, meet local artists, and even snag some amazing pieces for your Snohomish home at the Art Walk Snohomish. Art is on display the entire month of August in businesses located in downtown Snohomish and there is a very special event happening on Saturday, August 24th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Check in at Arts of Snohomish, located at 1024 1st Street #104. From there, visit 16 businesses and experience 50 local artists. There will also be art in Kla Ha Ya Park. Watch nine painters working live during this event. Enjoy chatting with the artists and find out more about their art and talents.
A few of the featured artists include Artistry for the Brave, Sonya Lang, Billy Barkley, Claire Ridlon, Tammy Lynn Pool, Bill Dewey, Bob Giadrosich, the Original Killer Pain Inc., Angel Arms Works Studio,and Susan Dawson. Participating businesses include Artisans Mercantile, Traumhaus Gallery, Maple + Moss Boutique, Looking Glass Coffee, Sprig Flower Company, Arts of Snohomish Gallery, Once Upon a Time Antiques and Oddities, Proper Joe Coffeehouse, Bruning Pottery, Snohomish Bakery at First and Union, The Chic Boatique, and Double Barrel Wine Bar and Lounge.
Make an evening of it and grab dinner while downtown and enjoy a walk along the beautiful Snohomish River. Stop in to Spada Farmhouse Brewery, Roger’s Riverview Bistro, Todo Mexico, Fred’s Rivertown Alehouse, or Cathouse Pizza for dinner. Enjoy dessert at Snohomish Pie Company, or pick up a slice to eat later at your Snohomish home. There is always something going on in downtown Snohomish.
