See the Persinger Group to find a Lake Stevens home. Take fun community classes to learn new skills and make friends.Winter is a great time for those living in a Lake Stevens home to take part in community education classes. Children and adults can get out of the house and make new friends while learning new skills, attending events, and participating in sports and other activities. There are many options to choose from in November and December. Here are just a few.

Creative Movement for Ages 3-5 with Beyond Boundaries Dance will have a session on Thursdays December 5th to December 19th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Young children will be able to use their imaginations and work on coordination, balance, and listening skills. The class fee is $60 and it will take place in the ELC Cafeteria.

Strategic Origami: Paper Airplanes and Aerodynamics for Grades 1-5 will have several sessions available December through February. Choose from Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. Participants will learn about the physics of flight concepts and create paper airplanes, boomerangs, gliders, and other projects. The class will take place at the HLC Cafeteria and the fee is $117.

LEGO® Architecture: Master Builders for Grades 1-5 will also have several sessions available on each weekday starting at the end of November and in December. Participants will learn about architectural concepts and build a city complete with skyscrapers, piers, arches, and more. The class will take place in the STC Cafeteria and the class fee is $112.

The Lake Stevens School District will also host The Dickens Fair on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at CMHS. Come celebrate the holiday season by supporting local crafters. Shop for gifts, look for some great pieces to adorn your Lake Stevens home, and watch for performances from local school children.
