The Community Education program brings many opportunities to those who live in Lake Stevens real estate to learn, grow, stay active, and meet other residents. There are many classes available throughout the year and there are some great ones available for September 2019. There are options for all ages and interests with affordable fees. Here is a quick snapshot of what is being offered.
Paper Control and Time Management for Busy Families with Monika Kristofferson will take place on Thursday, September 12th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the ESC Conference Room B. Participants will learn how to take control of the constant flow of papers that enter the home. Learn how to start a filing system, go paperless, and much more. The class fee is $20.
Hand-Lettering 101 with Jessica Mohr of Happy Heart Design Co. will take place on Thursday, September 26th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The class fee is $25 and the supply fee is $20, which includes a sketchbook and two brush pens, and is due to the instructor at class. Participants will learn about the strokes used to create gorgeous lettering and what supplies work best. The class will take place in the ESC Conference Room A.
There are also many classes available to those living in Lake Stevens real estate that start in September and continue over many weeks. Sport offerings include Over 40 Baseketball, Over 18 Co-ed Adult Basketball, and Non-Competitive Co-ed Adult Volleyball. Puppy Obedience, Basic Dog Obedience, and Advanced Canine Good Citizen Prep also have sessions starting in September. Youth classes with September start dates include Engineering with LEGO, Strategic Origami: Intro to Origami, and Strategic Chess.
