Kids who live in Lake Stevens go to winter camp.Winter break is a fun time to live in Lake Stevens and there are many options to keep kids busy while school is out. The Lake Stevens Boys and Girls Club is offering winter break camps to elementary students in grades kindergarten through 5th and teens in grades 6th through 9th. This is a great way for kids to hang out with their peers over break and a wonderful option for childcare for working parents.

The club will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for both camps. Week one dates are Monday 12/23, Thursday 12/26, and Friday 12/27 and the cost is $100. Week two dates are Monday 12/30, Tuesday 12/31, Thursday 1/2, and Friday 1/3 and the cost is $135. Participate in both weeks for only $200. Please note that the club is closed on 12/24, 12/15, and 1/1. A sack lunch is required on all days.

In addition to spending time doing fun activities at the club, there will also be several field trips. The elementary students will travel to Jump Rattle & Roll on Friday 12/27 and to Chuck E Cheese on Friday 1/3. The teens will travel to the Museum of Pop Culture, which includes a Minecraft exhibit, on Monday 12/23 and will have a movie theater day on Monday 12/30.
