Lake Stevens property owners know that their community is a special place. The city is on the small side, which gives residents the opportunity to form a true home-town feel. There are lots of fun shops and eateries where people gather to celebrate the local color of their city. Lake Stevens is also an expanding and up and coming community, with new faces and new businesses to get to know. While there are several breweries in town, there haven’t been any wine bars. Until now. On Thursday, January 9th, Rustic Cork Wine Bar will have its grand opening.
The ribbon cutting will be at 3 p.m., and the party starts right afterward. Rustic Cork is dedicated to bringing the best of Washington State wines to the people of Lake Stevens. Don’t worry, beer lovers, you’re covered, too. You’ll also be able to enjoy special food pairings at the grand opening. Order a charcuterie board or try the flatbreads. Wine aficionados will be able to try several different wines from different wineries in the state. Come for the drink specials and stay for the raffle and giveaway. Be sure to sign up for the Cork Club to receive members-only discounts and attend exclusive events.
Rustic Cork already has a great weekly schedule planned. Corks and Crafts will be held every Tuesday. The wine bar will team up with local artists to host painting nights, rustic sign making nights, and sip and succulent nights. After Grand Opening week, they’ll host Happy Hour on weekdays. Come in from 3 to 6 p.m. for $5.50 glasses of wine, as well as happy hour pricing on food plates and beer.
Rustic Cork’s Lake Stevens property is at 901 Frontier Circle East. Their regular hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m.; Friday from 3 to 10 p.m.; and Saturday from 2 to 10 p.m. Sundays are reserved for special events.
