Neighbors living in Lake Stevens head downtown July 28th through the 30th for the Aquafest. With 2017 marking its 57th year, the festivities are truly a generation to generation annual celebration. There is something for everyone to enjoy at the event. A variety of food vendors will be onsite to tempt hungry tummies. Carnival rides are set up for thrill seekers and meek riders alike. Shoppers can happily stroll about the Main Street grounds checking out arts and crafts. True treasures are sure to be found to commemorate the occasion. The Lake Stevens Kiwanis Club proudly hosts a beverage garden for friends to sit and have a good talk while savoring a drink or two.
An exciting entertainment line up is ready to impress. Music, magic, dancing and more are on the schedule. Kids living in Lake Stevens can partake in the Children’s Parade. There’s a tribute to the 80’s with a costume contest and nostalgic songs. Fireworks light up the night sky with an amazing display of color. The lake is lively too. Competitions in watersports are making waves with a boat parade floating by.
Due to some construction in the area, parking may be limited. A complimentary shuttle service will be on hand to take festival-goers to and from Aquafest, so there is no limit to the fun.
